Skepsos's skepsis

I swear

Posted in Skepsos by skepsos on March 24, 2010

It’s time to replace the expressions “bunch of faggots” and “that’s so gay”
into
“bunch of Christians” and “that’s so fucking theist!”

Really. It’s very odd to use the word ‘gay’ as a swearword. Gay is something that just simply exists, there’s nothing anyone could (or should) do about it.
Just replace it with “busstation” (another thing that just simply exists…). Try it.
For example “that movie was sóooo busstation!”

Genderfear

The killing of transgender people shows that a ‘man’ in a dress apparantly is felt to be a bigger threat than war and poverty.

Standard sex

Posted in Skepsos by skepsos on March 5, 2010

There is no such thing as an ‘oversexed’ society today, it’s just ‘wrongly sexed’ with a lack of diversity and a dominant standard in beauty that made it quite hard for me to find my own sexual niche.

Labels I

The most fantastic thing we as humans have been able to develop is speech, altough actually it sometimes is a bit of a shame we define and label things with only one word because there’s potential it’s making things too static – like with gender.
We haven’t invented enough words for all the genders there are yet.

Neutroid

For me personally I feel I have no gender, or… an infinite number of genders I guess.
It just doesn’t make sense for me, because I never feel static + I don’t identify with others. But looking at those other people, for example transwomen who say “I am a woman” – i look at them and experience their gender and yes: you would have to be blind not to see the 100% woman they really are.

Personal

My nonconformity was always motivated by the desire of finding myself, it was never provocation.
I’m far too sissy for that.
It’s in my nature to be genderqueer, and I’m glad I had the chance to nurture that aspect.

Bisexual genetics

Posted in queer, Skepsos by skepsos on March 3, 2010

I do believe there is such a thing as a sexual ‘tendancy’, because sexual ‘preference’ sounds too much as if you can make a man stop being gay – and even though I would love it if 100% of the population is really bisexual, from my observations I know this isn’t so – apart from that: to say that everyone is bisexual actually insults the bisexuals, because it’s simply another lousy way people made up in order to not having to necassarily talk about bisexuality and quickly wave it away as some form of neutral or default and uninteresting sexuality.

Aquatic ape

I find the equatic ape theory quite plausible, especially since it seems to prove science has had a white-male dominated viewpoint for far too long.

Body perception

Short URL: http://bit.ly/aFpnhv

The penis is not a male body part.

If a man’s penis gets cut off due to an accident, does it stop him from being a man? -No.

Is a transsexual woman, who still has her penis, a woman? -Yes.

Gendercontinuum

Gender is dynamic throughout any individuals’ life, because I feel our genders change depending on who we are having a relationship with. Nothing in life is static, including our own selves.
