Skepsos's skepsis

Auto-eye

Posted in Skepsos by skepsos on March 3, 2010

I used to call myself an agnosticus, because I thought we cannot know everything.
I think that we, with our limited physical abilities, are so very much part of the system, that this universe is, that we will never be able to step out of it, take a distance from it and observe it unbiased and absolute. In other words: an eye cannot look at itself.

However: these days I think: we may never know everything, but we pretty damn well know now there is no guy with a beard on a cloud, there are no muscled deities on the Olympus, and mummified Egyptians are still here on this earth and not with Osiris.
